Forums - Gaming Discussion - For multiplayer community support, Naughty Dog/Uncharted 3 has been the best

I think Naughty Dog has been great with communicating with the multiplayer community.  Of course, when certain tweaks or nerfing are done, not everyone will be pleased.  But Naughty Dog has shown that they are willing to listen and appears to try hard to constantly update the community on upcoming patches/fixes/DLCs.  As a Fortune Hunter's Club customer, I feel that my money has been very well spent.  Naughty Dog has won me over with brand loyalty.

Anyone agree?

As for DICE and Battlefield 3, I agree with the fanatic battlefieldo community.  DICE is shooting themselves in the foot in regards to growing brand loyalty.  DICE has already taken my money for BF3, but I'm not sure if I'll be getting the next Battlefield game.  Other than the Karkland dlc, I haven't heard much news about upcoming DLCs.  How about some news leaks to keep us excited?  Meanwhile, Naughty Dog has released 2 maps packs, 1 co-op dlc, and numerous costume dlcs, and numerous patches/fixes in respond to the community feedbacks.

I guess I also have to mention the hated Call of Duty game.  I bought MW3 for the PS3, and I feel stupid.  (At least I skipped over Black Ops, so I don't feel that jilted and somewhat justify my purchase because I thoroughly enjoyed MW1 and MW2.  But I haven't sworn to myself that I will never buy another COD game)  After Activision screwed over the PS3 COD community with the glitch-fest, vastly-inferior-port-compared-to-xbox360 Black Ops, I can't understand how someone would spend money on COD PS3 Elite to get the DLCs a month late.  I wouldn't even be angry but just feel used and taken advantage of.  Activision has treated xbox360 community well but I'm shocked at how Activision has maintained PS3 brand loyalty and continues to sell the PS3 COD well.  Of course, I'll even more shocked (but not surprised) when the next COD PS3 game has the highest opening week sales for the PS3 platform.

Not in a million years. The recently released patch from DICE has more fixes for the game than Naughty Dog will do in the entire lifetime of uncharted 3. Likewise Bungie were a million miles ahead. Seriously Bungie.net and the support Halo games got makes the efforts of most other games look laughable.

Turkish says and I'm allowed to quote that: Uncharted 3 and God Of War 3 look better than Unreal Engine 4 games will or the tech demo does. Also the Naughty Dog PS3 ENGINE PLAYS better than the UE4 ENGINE.

This is kinda off topic but does that killzone skins pack include in the i think it was 16 DLC packs the fortune hunters get... kinda disappointing if it is. So far i'm okay with the fortunes hunters pack i just really want new maps and not any more skins...

Other then that i'm happy with uncharted 3 and all the supports its getting. Just hope they keep it coming and keep fixing

.

Why all the hate for blackops? I'm lovin it, literally playing right now on my PS3.

i pretty much agree there's been tons of content so far and there's still more to come like the shade coop mode and the next map pack
the fortune hunters club was imo a great deal

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Now I haven't play U3, but like some others have mentioned Halo and especially Team Fortress 2 PC have seen a lot of support from their developers and constant updates. You can even throw Gears 3 in the mix as well. Epic has done a wonderful job with the continued support of Gears 3 with DLC, updates, weapon skins, etc.

So, because their game was more busted, and full a problems, having to release more fixes, (you said fixes, which implys something's broken) than naughty dog, they're automatically better?

I really don't care.  I'm satisfied with Uncharted 3.. I'm playing Twisted Metal now... and, I'm not happy.  Oh well, I'll be dropping it sooner than expected for Street Fighter X Tekken.  But, for anything to be the best... that's personal preference, and will always be different between persons.

IDK TF2 is pretty special, I mean it's hard to beat 5 years of constant updates including tonnes of new content all for free while also maintaining lots of dedicated servers. Hell the game now has 5x more content than it launched with...

Naughty dog has given great support to their games, however I would say polyphony digital has been the best by far. Gt5 has received so many great updates based on what the community wanted. It's a completely different game from what was released. Loads of great dlc too.
