The following images are supposedly concept art for Sim City V, for more info click here.
If this is true, looks like I'll be saving up for a new PC.

Wow! That looks great! I just hope it'll come out for consoles and not be as cruddy as SCC.

I hope there will at least be a proper PC version, though that will probably end up being some stupid free to play facebook game
Anyway, this does look quite nice, though I have been tempted by Cities XL, hopefully this can deliver the same excitment as the old games

You should try Tropico 4 :)
Last one I played was part 3. Was 4 any good? I might snag an old cheap copy to see if my kids like it.

Sim City 4 was many times better than 3... If this is the 5 i'll be melting it is almost 10 years without a proper sequel to "main series"
Sim City 4 is one of my most played games ever. It still has a big mod community that makes a rather big effort to create european styled buildings. Assuming this concept art can be taken for real it looks a little bit disappointing to me because of the american city landscape. Skyscrapers, big streets and such stuff. The Sim City franchise has some big potential and I liked the direction of Sim City 4, which got really complexe. So please don't screw it and don't do another Sim City Societies.
I wish there was a way to run the original. For gaming, it might not be so great. But for teaching planning concepts, it is far superior because it was basic in its presentation.
