On my quest to try out a Wii today, I saw a Dual Shock 3 being sold in the local toy store. Seeing that there's no Wii around to keep me busy, I took the plunge and bought the Dual Shock 3.

I came home and tried it on the first game that I know supports it: Uncharted. First impressions: Wow, this is definitely something Sony did right on the PS3.

 I'll test it further later and post more impressions here.

I wonder when the DS3 will be released here in the UK... I know its 'Spring' but it is spring now :P

haha lucky for me I live in a country where imports from Japan and US can be found easily.

actually we're still in winter, spring does start at the 21st of March, so it's a bit early for DS3 to show up in Europe.

I could get an import but not wanting to risk it... :P

I might give it a go sometime soon, will see when the release date is for PAL regions, if it is something like march> then i will import one! If its <march then i will probably just wait :P

I got my DS3 from play asia, and it's white so it's different then most others controllers here in the US. :) Works like a champ if you ask me.

To get the DS3 from Play-asia how much is the postage?? One additional reason that i'm a bit skeptical about importing one is that the Royal Mail charge an additional £8 per item from imported goods... total rip-off if you ask me!!
