The latest issue of Nintendo Power has confirmed that Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die, the sequel to the f*ckin' amazing visual novel / room escape game Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, will see a North American localization for the 3DS. Despite acting all sly when previously asked about the game's chances of coming over, Aksys will once again be handling publishing duties.

Good People Die is also a Vita title, but since this info comes from Nintendo Power, nothing about Vita was uttered. I'm sure the Vita version will come as well -- it's the Arsenio Hall to the 3DS' Eddie Murphy, after all

Oh happy day! It's suppose to be out by the end of the year and I can't wait, I do hope it comes out for Vita as well so many people can enjoy it!

Day 1 for sure... 999 was a little boring at times to be honest, having to read those walls of text were not funny at times, but I have no complaints, I loved the game and the bad endings were very interesting...

Not exactly day 1, but month 1 for sure.

999 was amazing. But please change the title - EXTREME escape adventure is so 90s!

I haven't bought 999 yet, but it's been on my import list for quite a while. Hopefully Nintendo will pick this up for a PAL localisation, or the region locking shit will really hit the fan

The game is pretty good. I've only played about an hour or so of it so far, but I'm enjoying it. I picked it up on Friday (it released on Thursday) for the 3DS. I don't think my gf wants to play it though, hehe.

Wow, that's GREAT news! I loved 999 and all it's different bad endings :P (the true ending is one of the most mind blowing ending I have seen)

That sounds awesome, especially if it comes to Vita! Would I need to play the first one to get into? Does 999 leave in a cliff hanger or something?

Not really and for what i saw, the characters and story are all-new. Altough I really recommend you to play the first game since the endings are really something.

Indeed, though there are referances to 999 so you might have a hard time understanding some.
