I think the first thing you should get is a $50 PSN card and get Playstation Plus, then you can play a bunch of games for the price of one.

Edit: Also with PS+ you will get PS1 Classics which you can use on your Vita when they bring out the firmware update and get discounts on some PsP games.

The PS blog has also hinted they are working on PS+ in some way for Vita. Though they didn't give any details.

Demon's Souls is an amazing game. Pretty cheap right now, as well.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Minna no Golf! (Hot Shots Gold/Everybody's Golf). Minna no Golf 5 is one of my favourites on the PS3, and I plan to get 6 for the Vita soon.

I got my Vita at launch here in Taipei and I love it. A beautiful machine! I got it with Uncharted: Golden Abyss and I really enjoy it.

If he were to base his decision off last gen trends then buying a launch playstation on would be a horrible decision.

Thanks for your input everybody i will probably get the Uncharted bundle they have (1&2) and Get 3. That should do for a month or two and i still have to get ME3.
