Exclusive are other kind of power?

Sure ALOT INFERIOR to Cod or GTA.

Those have multiplayer sales. People can have those games if they have either of the HD twins. Exclusives are the banner carriers for their brand. They are the value of the first party and the signifier of their audience.

Sorry but these days... Nope.

Thats because with Microsoft mutliplayer trumps exclusives. It doesnt work that way with Nintendo or Sony.

With Nintendo absolutely.

With Sony works the same way.

Best Selling Ps3 Games last year :

Mw3, BF3, Skyrim.

Stop being delusional. Mw3 moves more Ps3s than ALL Sony exclusives combined.

Dashboard is still horrible

It's the games marketplace (that still sucks) IMO, it's so messy and all over the place

Agreed!
On both statements

PSN:XDeath90 XBL:Saber VI

about time I couldn't find any indie games on last update...

Of course Multiplats are the top selling games on either system right now. Theres no delusion that exclusives create brand recognition. Microsoft doesn't worry about brand recognition with exclusives, because their value is in their online service and the Kinect. Microsoft realizes what makes them so much money, so they pour money into campaign ads for MW3, Skyrim and the like. Sony pours money into games, which is why their ads arent as good as they could be.

They have to show off all the other games since they aren't making any. They are relying on XBLA indy titles to keep 360 only gamers happy.

No

You would be surprised how many Xbox only gamers depend on XBLA titles because of the consoles lack of retail titles (excluding Kinect).

LOL, not sure if serious or why people like this dont get banned.

On Europe stills the same dashboard at least for now, new dashboard on games marketplace is so much better than every dashboard since 2005, now is really easy to find anything, i know because i have a U.S account and i checked it out, its very awesome now, thank god they changed it.

I keep LOLING so hard at that "lack of Retail" statement. hahaha, you sir, you sir is very funny. rofl

Why should I be banned? I have the console and I think Microsofts marketing is stellar, but outside of that not really they lack from a constructive first party perspective. I think its a good thing that the Indy titles are getting face time. XBLA is going to shine this year (as it has been for the last couple years).

They lack a constructive first party perspective? Little known fact: Microsoft has been a stronger publisher than Sony this generation:

If a game gets released and noone plays it, does that game still count? Does it matter than Sony releases Killzone 3 and Resistance 3 when all people care about are Battlefield 3 and MW3? Microsoft games tend to be landmarks in their genre and stand out a heck of a lot better on the whole than Sony's efforts.

According to the totals MS sold 109M games vs Sony 98M.

MS has two 10M selling games and 5 more 5M selling games vs Sony with 2 5M sellers.

Now would you really expect that kind of statistic from the first party which has the smallest number of 1st/2nd party developers? It proves it isn't so much about what you have but how you use it. You can throw down a list of games but the only thing which really matters in the end is convincing people your games are good enough to buy and to keep.

Platitudes keep you feeling good about yourself, revenue gives you a business and profit keeps you in it. They simply couldn't sell the most expensive to buy console with the $60 a year Live Gold expense which doesn't have the cool features like Blu Ray or the so called massive list of amazing games if they couldn't please their customers.

Tease.

Good to see that theyre listening.

Yay!!!

Hasn't this been there since the new dash was released, I know for a fact that it has been for me... always the 3rd slide for the big central tile. Then again this is for the US dashboard, where as I am in Britain, but I would have assumed such a simple thing would have been universal.

Its understandable that Uncharted and the Vita would be the only two the drown money into. Microsoft drowns money not only into Halo, Fable, Forza and Gears, but also COD, Skyrim and Kinect. The hottest titles. Sony realizes their ads suck or are lacking, so yes recently they did decide to devote 50 million to the vita.

Glad to see, I usually just use xbox.com when it comes to browsing games though. It's just faster that way to me.
