Kotaku reports the next Xbox console has been codenamed Durango. Multiple sources are claimed to have offered the news, and the codename is expected to be made public, similarly to Kinect’s long stint under the name Project Natal. Microsoft is not expected to make any announcements regarding new hardware until 2013 at the earliest.

Without Durango at E3, I'm not sure what Microsoft would plan to showcase apart from Halo 4.
