pirate game
does it play? do i like it?
if yes to both buy game.
when the entertainment industry understands that this is the process we will be good.

play demo

does it play? do i like it?

if yes to both buy game

when the pirates understand they only make excuses for wanting shit for free then we will be good

You are the only one making excuses so you can blame pirates for all shit the industry is to blame.

Demo´s arent everywhere and with every game and even then it´s a demo of the best part of the game just to make you buy it, alittle like those movie commercials that are all action but when you actually see the movie it+s shit and that action you saw lsted for 10 sec in one scene.

There is nothing you can compare to this consumer tool and all attempts are just excuses so the industry can make more money selling us shit.

and where does your money come from?

What does that have to do with the subject? why go off topic?

well, it's what the subject is all about, money, isn't it? the money the industry wants you to buy their shit with. where does yours come from? it's an important question when you think about it.

working and no its not relevant at all for our discussion.

You are the one shoehorning it in so you can in some way create a situation where somehow my money will be stolen.

no need to be so defensive, i remind you it was  you who accused me of  blaming people when i have not blamed anyone. i merely pointed out a different approach to trying games, in a rather ironic way, i admit.   nobody forces you to answer me, just let it go if you do not want to talk about it. but you cannot deny that the core of the subject of piracy is money, no matter from wich side you look at it. and if you blame "the industry" then you better not be any part of "the industry" or get and money from "the industry" in any way.

If i am in the industry you can rest assured that i think the same.

What i am trying to get to is what i wrote  in another post in this thread:

There is and will always be people the will use the rules and not give anything back but as theese studies show there are also benefits to be had and companies have to look at both and figure a buisnessmodell somewhere in between.

Only bigtime idiot assholes pirate stuff without spporting their company and there is 2 of them in this thread that actually confess to only download ond not support even when they have the means to buy.

and there is also this the industry has to adress the other side of piracy (besides those who use piracy as a consumertool and those who dont bother to contribute and only want to take):

Vitezslav, a 31-year-old Czech, is one of many people in the European Union's emerging east whose opposition to a new anti-pirating pact culminated this month in huge protests across the bloc that may now torpedo the treaty.

But far from the clichéd image of an impoverished eastern European who just wants to rip movies and songs for free, the young commodities trader is a savvy, modern media consumer who actually wants to pay for what he watches.

It is all about choice - or rather a lack of it.

Because he is unable to tap the cheap, instant access to digital media available through services like Netflix in more developed states, he pays 250 Czech crowns ($13) a month to ulozto.cz, a site that offers fast download rates of pirated material.

"People here got stuck on this site because there was no other provider where we could download movies. So we got used to it, and now we pay for higher download rates," said Vitezslav, who did not want to be identified by his last name.

"But if there was another legal service that would be as easy, I would do it. I pay for higher download rates, so why wouldn't I pay for something legal?"

Companies need to realise that they cant stop downloading at all and the people the buy and can afford but doesnt buy will nevwer buy with a slight chance the might buy a sequel or some game the thought ws really special, from people that cant afford they cant get any money anyway not untull they get back to an economic wellbeing and then they gained a new costumer but not all of them will ever become costumers.

That leaves what i think and some studies show the biggest group of downloaders that actually also spemds the most on their products and there is a great market ti tap in by doing what I said abov:

Order meal.

Eat meal. Was it a good meal? Was the service to your liking?

If yes to both, pay for meal.

If no to both, announce to manager you refuse to pay bill or go to bathroom and run out the back door.

Doesn't quite work that way in reality.

Actually if you complain enough about the food and service, they actually will probably comp your dinner.

so you still insisting that money is not a valid subject in the discussion about piracy?

but at least i am not going and copy/paste some old posts i made somewhere else, which are again only more excuses for piracy, which was my point in the first place. ..to someone else actually.

Running (Actually just casually strolling) out the front door without paying also works... the one time I did it anyway.

OT:

I already bought this on the X360, now this might make me a bad person, but I would have no issue with downloading the pc release.
