One wonders even about Dragon Quest X. That thing needs to launch this summer if it is to have any meaningful impact before Wii U lands, but where's the news?

Just forget about DQX. If the game doesn't get scrapped and redone, it's going to be a big disappointment, sales-wise. It's not going to sell in the West anyway and Japan didn't really care for Final Fantasy XI either.

There are structural differences from FFXI, from what i've seen, so it's not going to fall quite in the same trap, though you raise a valid point

Reggie did say they'd still support it. I know it looks bad, right now, but then, it was even worse last year when only Mario Sports Mix was announced for the whole year until Zelda was due, but then came E3 and Wii Sports Motion, Kirby, Mario Party 9 and Rhythm Heaven were announced. If memory serves 2010 was also crap at first and then we got DKCR and Epic Yarn. So we won't know until E3. I hope Wii gets DQX at least in the west if not a true Nintendo IP.

I was geared up for DQX until SE went up and decided to make it crap.

no. wii and wii u like apples and oranges

No to a big cross-platform title on the same level as a Zelda or Mario, but possibly when it comes to the Wii (instert stupid title here) series of games. I can't remember if it was at E3 itself or at one of the post-E3 interviews he did, but I remember Reggie saying something to the effect that Nintendo plans to release software SKUs for both Wii and Wii U, so for example if they put out another Wii Play title, there'd be a version that you can play on both (since Wii U will be fully b/c), and a version only for Wii U that takes advantage of its new control features.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Yeah, DQX, like the OP said.

Also, Pokemon Grey, maybe. For DS and 3DS?

Other than that, no. Wii = dead, 1st party-wise.

Simple answer not a chance. Nintendo only released TP on GC because they had promised consumers it was coming to GCN for years. Nintendo didn't want to let down or upset its loyal user base. A smart decision but with WiiU no such game exists. Pikmin was announced for GCN years ago but it is a lower priority title for consumers and Nintendo quickly let it slip out of the public's eye.
