She's one crazy bitch. After putting 100 machine gun rounds into her she says it hurts and runs away.

I shot her with a rocket launcher and there was nothing left of her.  Later on, she popped up again!

Also, let me just say that the next chapter (the one where you're adjusting the steam to find the cog and repower the ship) was pretty frustrating. Those cockroach leech things are like... impossible to kill, and trying to avoid them still doesn't leave you unscathed (especially when in tight corridors). I really do hate those guys. >:(

On a different note, I've read some reviews and a lot of them complain about there not being a variety of enemies.  I say -normal "ooze", ooze with claw hands, ooze that shoot, ooze that explode, killer fish, killer cockroach leech things, dogs, hunters, Rachel, that captain guy, and a few others that I won't name just yet- which RE game had more variety?

I never killed any of them- just ran past them all xD I'm not sure if that's what they intended, since they're so tough to shoot

I'd never really played RE until this game, but I guess you could argue that most of the ooze look quite similar, despite their different weapons

I don't have a 3ds yet, but when I do purchase one I plan for this to be one of the first games I pick up.

Resident Evil back to its best. I'm only on Episode 2 and I've already had two instances where I've jumped out of my skin and swore lol. The second of which is on a par with the zombie dogs jumping through the windows in the very first game in terms of shock value. Brilliant stuff.

And I think it's highly likely that we'll see a return of the scanner in Resident Evil 6 too which will be awesome with the U controller. It hasn't been announced by Capcom yet but I can't see them not bringing the game to the U...this is Capcom after all lol.

I quite liked the scanner idea- it feels a bit out of place with the rest of the game at times, but I enjoy using it
