It's no longer on the bar at the top and gamrfeed.vgcharts now redirects to vgchartz. Where's it gone?

It has been removed as part of the transition to the new site.

Well it depends what exactly you were looking at from it, most of the things that were on Feed will be part of one of the new sites.

A place where I can quickly view new reviews, gaming news and sales info in a simple list?

Fraid that function is gone.  My gamrReview site will have reviews and an editorial every now and then.  The new site for the video game database will have user generated news (I'm fairly sure) and VGChartz will keep the sales stuff.

This is an unwelcome change.
