Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Hori Fighting Stick for Wii

It's coming out in the UK on Feb 22nd but I know it's been out in the US for a while. Has anyone got one? Is it worth £29.99? I'm thinking about getting it for virtual console titles, Guilty Gear and hopefully Street Fighter 4.

*bump* Anybody??

hmmm, the Wii is probably not the best console for fighters. I have a the "real arcade pro" hori stick on ps2 and it is very good. I don't know anybody who has this one, but should be good if its Sanwa and not wireless.

Are you okaaay?

That's pretty cool...I'd love it for Metal Slug Anthology. Probably a little expensive to get for a couple people though.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

It's good. If you liked the NES Advantage then you'll like this. Has a very nice "clicky" feel that replicates the arcade experience. It's very sharp for doing combinations.

Don't have it but if your planning on getting Guilty Gear you should really have at least a classic controller.

Hori make the best Japanese style sticks. I'd get it, if even just to look upon it in awe. And for the record, I have one of these for my PS2, or rather I have two also made by Hori.

True but this one is a low end stick. Best stuff from Hori is made of Sanwa parts (lever, buttons) like Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 (soon I'll be a proud owner of this awesome stick) and Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 SA for PS3. In high end sticks you can easily change any damaged element so you buy one for years (stick alone cost just $25, buttons - around $2)

Still a decent stick. Probably it's the only way to play fighting games on Wii comfortable.

Unfortunately it's not compatible. It'll only work with games which work with the classic controller and MSA only works with the Gamecube controller.

MK Armageddon, Guilty Gear and SSBB are all compatible though, plus all the VC titles.
