Did the patch fix Skyrim for you on the PS3?

Yes 18 33.33%

No 4 7.41%

Fuck you Bethesda 15 27.78%

Show me the Daedra Lords undergarments! 17 31.48%

Total:54

I love Skyrim and I make no qualms about that.

Anyone have the patch fix their game?  I have been playing about 3 hours now with the patch and things are actually working! (have a 14mb save game).  Before the patch:

I could not cast spells, summon creatures, or run (Im serious it was that bad, no lag just boom hardlock).

Will Bethesda do anything in order to make up for releasing a broken game?
If I was one of those Skyrim owners on PS3 I'd demand some compensation. Free DLC anyone?

I refused to buy a Bethesda game for years because of shit like this. All their games have the never fixed problems and the PC fan community put in the work to fix the issues, and make it look better. Also the combat was pretty boring anyway and that is the #1 thing about a game.

Prayz da lourd!!!!

4 ≈ One

My game ran perfectly until Patch 1.2 + Firmware 4.0.

Of course they wont compensate anyone. It is a shame but the reality.

I only got to play the game for 100 hours, instead of the 10 that is industry standard, COMPENSATE US BETHESDA, YOU WITCHES!!

Issue was never play time.  I have a good 120ish hours into my game before it was completely unplayable.  Whether 10 hours or a Hundred, there is no excuse for releasing a game that that becomes unbeatable due to bugs.

Skyrim was a my first New Bethesda game purchased on the console (usually play them on my PC) and it will definitely be the last.

For the love of god, please Bethesda, let this be a real fix this time. I'm dying to play this game and I couldn't stand watching my save file grow. I'd go paranoid over it.

Edit: To the people who answered "no" in the poll: Did you follow the instructions? Saving manually, then rebooting the system and play for a while?

If your PC could handle it, then it was pretty dumb of you to buy it for the Ps3.

Great news that the patch fixed things rather nicely!
