The DICE summit is currently taking place as awards are being handed out and moments ago Mark Rein took the stage. While talking about Unreal Engine 4 he said that the graphics engine was running on “systems I can’t talk about by name.” This would obviously point to the next generation of consoles being pretty far into development. Let the rumors continue to come out of the woodworks!

UPDATE: The quote was technically “Including systems we can’t name yet.”

So... by "Including systems we can’t name yet" they're saying it will also work for PC... Surely Wii U is way too weak?

So WiiU (possibly its new name), PC, PS4, and neXtBox. Seems obvious and supports my E3 hypothesis.

No Wii U version, to much power for a Nintendo system.

I find it amusing that people deride the power of the WiiU even though the rumoured nextbox specs are very, very similar.

Since I decided to get Skyrim for semester break and watched videos of the game running on high end PC's I felt the itch for a new console generation. Late 2013 still seems more likely to me than this year but hey if we can get a new generation in 2012 why not? I'd be all over it
