Some thoughts.

Third parties have more than half the slots. That means that there is some way to sell to Wii owners.
Since NPD does not count pack-in games, it shows that real strength of Mario Kart Wii but also hurts NSMB Wii.
Skyward Sword had too small a sales window to make the list. It was out for less than one month.

Surprised to see Skyward Sword so low down. Then again, it did launch late in the year, so games (like Just Dance 2) only had to sell roughly 1/10th of what SS sold a week for the entire year to finish above it. I hope to see Xenoblade Chronicles on this list next year guys!

Well, someone must have wanted them to sell because they bought them.

Unforunately, I can't think of any titles that sold well elsewhere but didn't on the Wii that were not poor ports or sequels of sequels.

What is surprising, given that srquels generally under perform on the Wii is how well Just Dance 3 has done.

good to see 3rd party doing well on wii . and 3ds . shows that they can do well on nintendo platforms

regardless of what people say about the top 4 i say thats ok because the other 6 are good to .

and mariokart as well as super mario 64 has some better legs then they did so on the n64
