I never expected any different. People who did had their hopes way, WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too high.

Oh well. Time to emulate my copy of FFX in 1080p on PC then.

Still it would be nice having this game on a portable so people shouldn't cross it off their wishlist just yet.

Can't wait for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yawn...

remasters are lazy ways to make easy cash from fans... nothing more.

I think I'll buy it anyway since I didn't play it on the PS2. So it's good for me

yes for me too...i sold the PS2 version when i was getting the PS3...

and it will good for many other people too cause FF X is a loved FF game not like some others and with the trophies it will get much love im totally sure!

Its because a false report which said that the game was being remade with the crystal engine. Also the fact that Nomura said the game was being "developed" by the one of squares key production team+ the lack of footage made it seem more like a remake. Normally simple HD remastering are announced mere months before their release, with trailer in hand.

I was sure it would be a remaster. I'll buy it anyway.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

Yet it will still take the 5 years to make it

I believed the same, made you know game media, if they report it based on what they thought they heard....it must be true.

Whether or not it is "lazy" I am still happy to have the option available. I think all classic games should be continuously made available.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Better, remaking it would take decades for a company like SE.
