It's a good game... won't entertain hardcore C.O.D. fans for long.... great story although cheesy in places. Good online action. Better than Syndicate... like Vanquish in some places. A hidden gem in my opinion. Shooting Cyborgs is fun! A Sega game with arcade shoot-em up action... always there to idle away an hour or so... and the Invasion mode on-line... can take 2 hours or more:)

Yay! Finally more people are taking note of this game. I'm hoping it will fill the void of ME3 for me. ME2 was a disaster and ME3 looks to be going further down that path so I'm hoping Binary Domain delivers. The story and mechanics (squad trust, robotic dismemberment) look great, now it just needs to be solid in the rest of the gameplay.

Expanding on the gameplay, I played the demo a few weeks back and was really impressed with it. I played it after the ME3 demo and was surprised by how much more organic and smooth BD felt than ME3. The AI is decent and the dismemberment makes blasting robots more fun than any game before it IMO (yes, even Vanquish).

I will be getting this before I get ME3... as soon as I get a dang job!

I'm currently playing Mass Effect 3, and I have to agree. Binary Domain completely blows it out of the water in terms of gunplay.

And yeah, the procedural damage makes Binary Domain's shooting probably the most satisfying in any game ever. It's one of those rare games where I beat it and then immediately started a new playthrough.

Highly underrated game, the demo was very good, I will be picking this up over ME3 after I finish my current games

It is amazing! And the Ending is great, because it is not just as everyone expected. :D

Everyone but one person I've seen talk about it had only good things to say. It sounds just a tiny bit like Vanquish. Which means it must be good, because Vanquish is the best action game this generation.

I have been playing it for some time now. It is an incredible game. The gunplay is highly satisfying and the story totally hooked me in. I enjoy the relationships with my partners. The graphics are solid. Some action sequences, when you are in vehicles, are really intense. A hidden gem. Plus, the single player campaign as a decent length (10 hours from what I have read). I must be 5 hours in and it's been action non-stop. Superb!

Proud owner and supporter of the YAKUZA games!

I agree.. the ending is great... but it's the twists and turns mid game that blew me away... if you think about the actual story there is so much more you can mirror it to in real life (that's what all good sci fi movies try to do)... such things as prejudice, racism, fascism... not sure if they tried to do this deliberately but I have not thought about such things since playing Heavy Rain... which is a completly  different game genre. I got the Bladerunner feeling half way through and thought... jees someone has actually really thought about this! A proper sci-fi game with a proper storyline (if with some cheesy characters) which got me thinking... Well I never!

As soon as i have some time off work again, i'm going to purchase this game, demo as excellent.
