Forums - PC Discussion - Completed my 1st Build

That's a very nice build you've got there. My recent build is quite similar although I've never been a fan of overclocking so the CPU is at stock and I'm waiting for the HD 7xxx to be fully released (and hopefully come down in price, lol) before I invest in a new GPU (4850 is keeping me going for now).

Nice build - you should have plenty of fun with that and it should easily keep pace for quite a while.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

good job, beats the hell out of my cheap as i could but still mange to play something build, lol, but i had little cash

that's dollars i assume,hopefully i can afford a powerhouse one day

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

TFWIW- I can definitly notice the difference when I am OC'd and not. 4.6 CPU compared to 3.8, I also have now OC'd my GPU using MSI after burner. I have it stable at 880MGH and 1350 MGHZ ram OC. I think in about 1 year I will get a second 6950 to help my CPU keep ahead, my PSU can handle it and my MOBO has some space, but I will lose the PCI port I have my Wifi card in. I dont want to have to get a thumb drive netwrk card.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Acording to this pic :

You have 2 PCI slots. Even with 2 graphic cards, you should be able to use the first one (the one on the right). Or are you using both?

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I can't see your comment (just like the other time)

Hmm, why 16GB of RAM? I don't think there's much chance of ever utilizing that much in your build.
Your GPU is the same as mine, I run BF3 on Ultra with everything on full @ 1080p resolution on my 27", no problems. The multiplayer is another story, run it on high with a steady 35-40fps but on ultra with everything on full juice I drop into the low 20's and below.

Congrats on your new rig!
