He probably doesn't live in your standard 600 square foot apartment, but more likely a multi level 2000 square feet kingdom on the 60th floor in the middle of downtown tokyo over looking the whole city....

First, GGE is quite smart with finding this contradiction in the interview. Because the CEO IS using a strategy which he later says has failed in another market. However, it is very far fetched and definitely intended to make many people go off here. For me, this qualifies as a troll post.
However, did any of you actually catch what the CEO was saying? "The price is expensive but it comes down $100 every year." Does that mean we are to expect another price drop of 100 USD in 2008? That would be quite fantastic, IMO.

You are absolutely right. You shouldn't compare a console that was profitable to one that is not. Until the PS3 starts to make money it shouldn't be compared to a console that actually turned a significant profit. Great point Jhlennon1.
How the heck are they going to reach the 11M by end of March? I don't get it.
The only way they could possibly do this is if they report 7M+ sales for this quarter but we all know that is not going to happen...
