Third-parties will have a new goalposts set for next generation; it will be userbase first and then audience.
How do you create an audience without releasing game content? *shrugs*

If they want their projects to be as profitable as possible they'd better port it to all consoles (PS4, WiiU, Xbox1080).

As for the OP, I wouldn´t be surprised to see GTA V on the Wii U.

I´d say around 70% chance of the game releasing on Wii U...though I´d say around 50% if we´re talking simultaneous release.

No. GTA V (among others) would convince you to buy a Wii U for it would prove Nintendo will get full third party support this time. Makes more sense that way, huh?  

OT: Why not? The only thing that could stop Rockstar from making a port for the Wii U would be a general lack of trust in Nintendo platforms. And this is just what Nintendo wants to tackle with the Wii U. GTA V, Assassin's Creed 3, Resident Evil 6, Call of Duty... all of those can be easily ported to the Wii U. If Nintendo can get them all they'll get the "core" gamers, too. It's like Pokemon but with gaming franchises

Nintendo is after the hardcore, not totally but at least more then with the Wii/Ds

it seems like it to works for the time, as Revelations tops the charts in Japan, UK, Germany, many core games coming and Zelda selling on 3DS too

if they can only get GTAV would make a good start for WiiU, and as i read in 1-2 issues ago, of the Official Nintendo Magazine in the UK, they said that RockStar has not announced GTAV for WiiU, but gave a hint that Nintendo is trying to convince Rockstar for GTAV or smth, from what i understand
