it astounds me that most of the "dream" games being requested are about as far away from a nintendo style developed game as can be leading me to wonder, why you guys are in fact nintendo fans...

That's what actual Nintendo games are for

..makes about as much sense as going to a chinese restraunt to order a pizza.

No, it doesn't.  Why do fans of Nintendo games and fans of completely different kinds of 3rd party games have to be mutually exclusive?  I'm a die-hard Nintendo fan, yet Bioshock is my favorite game this gen, with Uncharted 2 probably next.  Clearly, many of us want variety for Nintendo's next console.

Instead, it's like going to the supermarket and only being able to find chinese food there.  Many would like to be able to get pizza, fish and mexican food as well...

This is so true! I'm a Nintendo guy, only console I got - but i played uncharted 2 today, and damn! I want it! But i'm dubious to buying a second console at their current price tag... Sadly, I think I've missed a lot of games this gen that didn't appear on Wii...

Thats how I feel. Too bad I'm too much of a Nintendo Fan to save up for any other console! XD

Well, I'm not going to be necessarily posting a launch line up:
Final Fantasy XIII-2 or another re-made one
Dragon Quest X, already announced but I want them to make an actual RPG out of it!
Metroid, Obvious
Pokemon, (Genius Sonority is 2nd party... close enough!)

there is no supermarket this generation.  nintendo took extrodinary to rebrand themselves for this gen and we basically got what we were advertised, a meal of games completely forgien to what we were used to.  the wiiU reveal is very clear in one message -- nintendo want to continue being an exotic dish.  believing you can get good old fashioned home cooking from nintendo only sets yourself up for disappointment.

...i think this analogy has reach its limit lol.

That doesn't explain why you find it so astounding that a Nintendo fan might enjoy a non-Nintendo style game

Besides, what you said is totally wrong looking at the titles announced so far for WiiU

There's no need to be rude about it

Khuutra you always strike me as a moderator. I don't know why... maybe because of your cool avatars?

Mortal Kombat with one button fatality inputs using the tablet would be cool

perhaps because i the "games" nintendo now puts out to be as mutually exclusive to things like dead space, resident evil, GTA, and other games requested in this thread as say dora the explorer would be to firefly...

Really? You're resorting to trashing Nintendo games? I guess no one's above it. Still, I thought you were better than than >_> (don't know why though)

Aaaanyways, what you said (if it were true) just means that people have different tastes and enjoy variety in games. Nothing astounding here.

...Except it isn't true. Nintendo developes plenty of games in many different genres, would you like to list some for you?... honestly I don't know how to respond to what you're saying, it's just plain false

As for the WiiU itself, here, enjoy
