No, that would be a waste of time.

I was actually planning on writing one about the Packers if they got this far.

It's a good thing that the Packers destroyed your evil plan.

OT  How did you manage to get all of the Platinum Medals on Blast Corps?  It seems as though it would be impossible.

Another great gaming accomplisment of mine: Beating GoldenEye on 00 Agent.  That level where you protect Natalya was a pain.

Yup, GoldenEye is a pain. I didn't beat it entirely on 00 Agent, gave up on the last few levels, because Natalya is a deathseeker.

Blast Corps is funny in that the clock keeps running at the same pace even if the rest of the game slows down. In some levels you can save a couple of seconds just by using a different camera angle to avoid slowdowns. Of course, there's still many levels with a tight time limit, those where you have to use the truck are especially difficult. Except for the long level in the desert where the nuclear transporter drives on rails. I think I got about 20 seconds below the platinum time limit on that one.

Huh, so changing the camera angles helps you save time?  I never in a million years would have figured that out. I was happy with getting all gold medals.  That in itself was frustrating.

By the way, have you ever gotten back to trying to get all of the Platinum Medals in Donkey Kong Country Returns?  I haven't played that game in months.

I found it out, because there's a level where you start in the train and have to get a bulldozer over the rails with the help of a crane. No matter how often I played that level, I would always be a second short of platinum. So I just gave it a try and rotated the camera to avoid the usual slowdown when approaching the train station and immediately got a time two seconds below the platinum limit.

And no, I didn't get back to DKCR. Everytime I post about it on your wall, I end up stopping to play the game. So I am still stuck at 56 shiny gold medals.

Obviously it's been a while since I've played the game.  They are shiny gold medals and not platinum.

Don't feel badly.  I think that my number is in the teens.  :p

Eh, probably beating some guy who was hogging and essentially bullying people on the Street Fighter 2 Machines finishing him off with a perfect then leaving my game to the rest of the younger kids there looking to play.

Not really a completeist or anything like that.

Gaming challenges now are more self imposed things like "Play Fallout 2 roleplaying as Batman." (IE Unarmed/Stealth/Throwing Weapons).

Or "Play 9 games of Fallout 2 as the Team Fortress 2 characters, changing between characters every 3 levels."

Demoman being the hardest by the way... due to the lack of explosives and pretty much everyone in TF2's lack of allying up with people.

Right... when you lose it's lag and when you win it's skill.

Only played online 1 time, I have over 500 hours of play time with friends in the same room. When I played online there was a 1 second lag, it was terrible and hits were registering wierdly.
