to tell you the truth before playing through the game for 3 hours i believed i would be dissappointed as  i was dissapointed by x-2

although ff xiii-2 as a sequel is presented more fresh and in general when you try to  get the big picture it reminds you the old final fantasy titles

this title has more life than the original and even more after reading a lot of revies saying that the story is awful i found the story great

Holding off my final opinion until I can log in more time but I'm really enjoyong it so far. It's a little girly, though.

Considering FF has a long history of mediocre story telling and laughable plot in general, I'm finding critics complaining about the story in FF13-2...ironic, if that's the correct term. Plot was never, ever FF selling point. If I cared about the story FF9 wouldn't be my favourite.

FF12 had the only story I'd bring home to show off to mum and dad, all due to the excellent dialogue and a plot delving into political corruption.
