Does this not count as a remastered game? Halo Anniversary has sold nearly 2 million

I guess not, for some reason.

Probably because Pokemon Heart Gold / Soul Silver did more in Japan than Halo Anniversary will do Worldwide.

Nice trolling. I don't see any relevance.

Unless those Pokemon games use the original source code like Halo Anniversary, I would consider them remakes.

Whoever wrote that article is LATE.
The game reached 1 mil A LONG TIME AGO.

I know VgChartz tracking isn't perfect but they have it at 2.47mil. No way its overtracked 1.4mil.

In this thread, Puggsly thinks someone disagreeing with his definition is trolling.

Can you please explain to me why a remastered game needs to use old code?

Anyway, I just chose the best selling one. I could have gone with another Pokemon game, Mario 25th, Zelda 3D... So many games to choose from in front of Halo and GoW.

I would love for you to explain to me how your comment makes any sense at all in response to what you quoted.

In the sense of, why would they bother saying anything about Halo when it isnt relevant?

Not hard to read it really.

it's only ONE game, if you count both God of War games in the collection they sold more then 2 million

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Okay, if you need an example.

Lets say a band released a remastered album. You know you're going to get the same old album but it'll sound better. Remaking a song or an album means the music is being redone which can often times lead to something very different.

Using the original code means you're essentially getting the same old game. While remakes tend to very different.

Also, if you read the article you'll notice the focus was on HD platforms.

Halo is relevant because its a remastered game on a HD platform and once again the thread was focusing on HD platforms.

No, thats just cherry picking.

Call of Duty MW3 on PS3 is the best selling version of the game*

*this post excludes Microsoft Xbox 360.

Also, your other post is exactly my point. Its the same game but improved. Its no different than a remake.
