Hmm... I don't think I'll be getting it for a while. I've loved most of FF's main entry games, but FFXIII didn't really impress me at all, unfortunately. While FFXIII-2 does seem to improve on a lot of stuff like the battle system, the story and characters still seem weak (also I'm not too fond of CTEs during cut-scenes). If I do end up getting the game, it'll only be after it gets a heavy discount, most likely the Greatest Hits PS3 version.

That does look like one sexy cover and cause the collector's doesnt come with a case you'll have this one. Tho unfortunately that looks like its meant for 360 with the shape of the case fitting DVDs.

Nope actually it comes G2 format only so far (G2 being PS3/Blu-Ray format) so it's the 360 buyers that get fooled! lol

Were you tempted to pick up the collector's edition? I am picking up the Xbox 360 collector's edition from Best Buy....the story booklet was too tempting to resist. My Bestbuy will not carry the game guide the first day, which is I have to treck back to Gamestop to buy it. I do not own a PS3, so it was pretty straight forward which copy was the right choice for me.

I too am getting it from Bestbuy for the PS3 tho. Im assuming the story booklet is the Bestbuy preorder bonus? I read that the booklet only comes packaged in with the regular edition. I may/hope im wrong as im also getting the collector's edition. But it makes sense seeing the bestbuy advertisement printed on the box art like how other games such as Assassin's Creed are doing it too. However it makes the cover look dam ugly. As well it says "in-pack" so seems like its packaged with the game and not something they just give to every customer that purchases any copy of FFXIII-2. I hope im wrong tho =(

As well ill try to platinum this as i did with the original =)

Ughhh! It better come with my collector's edition! It's the only reason why I am getting it from BestBuy! I REALLY want Futureshop one! If only I lived in Canada....

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

Yea same here! I live in Canada and i really want this booklet but if i dont get it then its a waste of my preorder as ill get nothing and shouldve gotten it at Futureshop for the steelcase.
