We’ve seen artists and developers do some pretty amazing stuff with Kinect but this one probably tops each and every one of them. Check out the video above to get an idea of the scale of this Kinect implementation

Live Park

Live Park is a completely interactive theme park located in South Korea. It features a massive 360 degree stereoscopic theater (according to them the biggest in the world) and a gigantic projection square that stretches over 150 meters. The cool thing about this: It is all made possible because of the Kinect sensor!

There isn’t a whole lot of information on how Kinect is used in the theme park but there must be an insane amount of Kinect sensors being used, all hooked up to tons of hardware that make the hidef interactive experience of this park possible. The only downside is that it is all the way in South Korea so I don’t think I’ll get to experience it anytime soon. Still, it great to see that Kinect is being used on a project of gigantic proportions!

Still waiting for kinect powered arcades....

That's a neat idea. A boxing game and a ping pong game would be really cool. Would give new breath to arcades.

People playing kinect might look like a nut job though. Lol. 

But as long as its fun. Im fine.

Kinect might make it a tad better, but this stuff isn't new for arcades and won't change the direction they are headed.

Yes but something done better. Not everybody has the space to play Kinect and a lot of them will always refuse to buy 360s so if they were to put 4-5 machines powered by kinect in Shoping Centers I think people would play. Heck even gyms should try.
