Well it's not entirely fair to compare since we now know that the 3DS ended up doing well, but for all intents and purposes it sounds like the Vita is a better piece of hardware, and the launch is definitely accompanied by a better launch lineup.

I think all this guy's points are fair, even though there's the purchaser's bias at hand "I paid a lot, therefore I subconsciously try harder to justify my purchase." I mean look at the Wii, when that came out I fell in love with that system, but after a few years I just stopped caring and now see it as one of the biggest disappointments ever. I have more games on my PSP than I do my wii. Hell, I used to be a rabid anti-Xbox360 fanboy and now have more than double the amount of 360 games as I have Wii games. Potential is one thing, you gotta live up to it to be awesome.

Im not sure, I was kinda asking because in the op the guy states the amount of hours hes played im wondering if he just counted or the system counts the use.

This was the best ad I've seen for PSV so far Sony should hire you. They have not advertised at all.

I saw a article on yahoo's main page talking about Sony's biggest flops of all time and mentioning Vita's upcoming launch, not a good thing.

Also just saw acouple Taco Bell ads for a contest on how to win one.

That is just pathetic as far as I'm concerned. I want Vita to succeed but fear that Sony will get in its own way.

Well to stop any concerns me and a friend confirmed the console feels damn good in the hands =D The buttons and TWO analog sticks feel great! The golden abyss demo looked and played wonderfully!

Well, without proper software that uses the advantages of the hardware, what's the point of superp hardware? I just wanted to point out, that the best handheld ever should be defined by the software, even when talking about hardware. Sounds weird? Perhaps, but the 3D effect of the 3DS is a good example imo, without creative use of the 3D it's a worthless hardware advantage of the 3DS. And the graphic power of the Vita could be worthless too, if it only gets lazy ports of the marketleader 3DS. 

they should swap the 3G for a model with 32 gigs internal memory!
