well actulally when you by elite, one of the bullet points of the perks of bein an elite memeber says: get access to DLC before anyone else.

sooo.....

but the fince print in the terms and conditions did say they have the right to delay, cancell, deetermine when and if the DLC comes out.

People who pay for this deserves anything I guess. More power to Activision.

While Activision are correct seems to me they're finding it's not going to be easy to try and have an exclusive deal on one console while trying themselves to offer a cross-console elite service offering as well.

Really I don't think the two are that compatible from a marketing perspective and Activision are going to face this so long as DLC hits 360 first. People are going to take Elite and expect that means they get priority - they're wrong, but to be fair Activision is trying to mix two messages here and this won't go away as a result.

No matter how you put it, Activision is right on this one. In fact, people knew this all too well that PS3 elite members would be getting DLC after 360 elite members, but they complain just to troll.

Also why should it matter to PS3 users if another platform gets it first due to a deal, PS3 got about 10 more quality exclusives than the 360 last year, why don't the PS3 users just play some of these exclusives in the month that they have to wait for the COD dlc to come to their platform?

360 gets stupid timed exclusive dlcs, PS3 gets actual real games. I think we all know who has the better deal. The gamers are indeed to blame.

why would those ps3 gamers care when 90% of them would rather play cod than those exclusives

Activision are to blame, look at the new CoD Elite trailer as example. At one point he says "Getting all the new maps first on your console, that is Elite", yet the Xbox users who are not elite will get them around the same time PS3 Elite user do, and Xbox Elite way before PS3 Elite, he also says when talking of Elite stuff "Every month for the next 9 months" yet doesn't say 'on Xbox 360' so that is a just plain false statement. The trailer ends with 'New maps out now" and says nothing about only for Xbox 360.

The trailer is aimed at all Elite users yet doesn't hold true for the PS3 portion. False advertising.

this.... though the fine print remedies this

Kinda makes you wonder why the hell a PS3 user would even get ELITE, hell why would anyone for that matter

Both are in the wrong, but more-so activision.

People are actually paying for this shit?

no, they are not people!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

That - in a nutshell - is there problem.  They're positioning Elite as giving you the uber priority and experience, but this cuts across their existing deal which gives 360 a time advantage on DLC.

TBH personally I think they should have waited until the contract expired until they brought something like Elite to the market.  I guarantee they are going to hear this complaint a lot.
