With Max Payne 3's release date coming fast you may want to get caught up on the story line that has defined Max over the last 10 years. Whether you've played Max Payne and Max Payne 2 and just want a refresher course, or haven't played them at all, Steam and Xbox LIVE have them available for purchase. 

In a recent Tweet, Rockstar Games said that you don't necessarily need to play the previous two games to get the story line but they recommended that you grab them on Xbox LIVE or Steam. We'd recommend playing them, because the story line is good enough that we think it'd make Max Payne 3 that much better of an experience on May 15th!
