I think Destructoid (one of my favorite sites to read reviews btw) gave FF XIII a 2 or a 4 out of 10.

I expected FFXIII-2 to get quite good reviews so this is surprising.

Well Famitsu gave it 40/40, but...that's Famitsu. 


I don't really follow kotaku reviews at all, but I do have a system of reviewers I follow, and specific reviewers I avoid. For example, our fellow reviewers Machina and Torillian, I follow because they're consistent, and brutally honest. Fellow reviewer and self proclaimed "bearded gamer", I avoid because I can't necessarily trust what I read from him. There's only so much I can disagree with before I'm turned off.

At least reviewers almost universally loved FF before XIII (or maybe before X-2)


I think we can live without a X-2 remake

not sites, but game informer and The playstation magazine gave the game 8/10 and The xbox magazine 9/10.

Very informative review, but the score is way too harsh for the criticism he mentioned .
XIII-2 flaws are predictable " identity crisis" , shallow plot and poorly written characters ... in other word Motomu Toriyama.
