CLOSING COMMENTS

Resident Evil Revelations is a great handheld game, one that not only pushes the boundaries and standards of the Nintendo 3DS but one that recaptures a long-forgotten spirit of a classic franchise. Make no mistake about it, this is a full Resident Evil adventure that isn't watered down because it's in portable form. That's no small accomplishment. Despite its disappointments, Revelations will be remembered as one of the better entries in this series, and should serve as a notice to all other developers, including Nintendo itself - this is the type of production value we want to see on the 3DS.

The score was....... 8.50

PD: I believe the score is too low for the little complaints they had

Isn't that the norm nowadays.

Reviewers would complain a lot and give it a great score or praise it a lot and give it a rather low score.

Good stuff :)

~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
some people are more positive. Or I mean.
this probably sounds ridiculous.
But there's some games I'd give a 7 or 7.5 to, that I'd praise a lot.
And certain games I'd give an 8 or an 8.5 that I'd rip apart.
For instance, Deus Ex, New Vegas, and Dragon Quest V are my most favorite games this gen. But still I'd give them a 9.5. Because there much more memorable for me personally and fun.
Then there's games like world of goo, which is perfect, or Kirby's epic yarn. Where extremely well put together games. I'd give them an 8. And I still greatly prefer other games even if they have more flaws.
Since, there's no exact rubric for scoring a game.
reading the comments, it should have been at least a 9.0
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
Back in my days 8.5 was a great score.
That's good. I was expecting a 7.5. Ofcourse, I loved the demo though.
Everything equal or above 8.0 is worth playing. That is how it used to be, that is how I still see it today.
stop it right now!!
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
OMG!! it didn't get a 10?!!!?
not buying god dammit!!
nah i think 8.5 is very good! higher than i thought actually (8)
