Forums - Gaming Discussion - best Battle in a Pokemon Game?

Yeah Pokemon Gold was epic as it had a big new world and the red and blue world and then in the end you face the most powerful opponent you ever face in any of the games.

Of course in the special battle arenas you face off against level 100's but everyone is the same level and such,

Anyone find some of the final fights in Pokemon Black to be hard. One of the elite four took 3 tries and the champion and boss took 2-3 tries as well.

Yeah, the final battles in Black/White were pretty hard indeed, but I found N and Ghetsis to be much harder than the first round of the Elite 4. I didn't had to retry to beat both, but I did burn through most of my inventory to get through N's uber-powerful Reshiram and Ghetsis's insane Hydreigon >_<.

and while we are on the subject of pokemon battle themes:

Black's final battles were very hard actually harder than VS Lance and Blue in the past games as you faced the toughest Pokemon in the game.

Pokemon Black vs stronger Champion Cynthia was a hard battle.

VS N was strong as the only way to beat his legendary was for me to use mine.

However I still consider Lance to be epic, a Gyardos, Chirazard and The Rock Flying one and 3 Dragonites. Wow! and he was the Champion is 6 games lol.

The very first battle with Gary. My/nearly everyone's introduction to the awesome game! :')

Red for sure.

My personal top 10 (has a few spinoffs)

1.) Red (G/S/C)
2.) Rival Champion (R/B/Y)
3.) Lance (G/S/C)
4.) E.V.I.C.E. (Colosseum)
5.) Grandmaster Rod (Pokémon Trading Card Game)
6.) Champion Steven (R/S)
7.) Giovanni Final (R/B/Y)
8.) Champion Cynthia (D/P/Pt)
9.) Champion Alder (B/W)
10.) N Final (B/W)

Wait what? xD

That match was probably the stupidest thing concerning Pokémon I've ever seen... along with most of Colosseum's content...... GBA matches were great though!

Scumbag Gary always picking the pokemon opposite of yours

Still, every battle with Gary in the original Red/Blue (FR/LG for that matter) were trully epic, especially the ones starting with the battle at Sylph CO. His team was almost always stronger than yours and was pretty balanced (well except maybe for Pidgeot, which was only cannon fodder). His Alakazam could make a number on your team if you weren't prepared.

@lestatdark Damn, edited my last post too late :P

I remember in Pokemon blue were you have to fight everyone in this ferry, at that time I though it was epic. And kicking Garry"s ass is always awesome.
