Ah bittersweet.

I have been hoping these games would make the jump, but in an HD remake package with trophies. I stilll have these for PS2 and my PS2 is still kicking, so without new add-ons (trophies) I will unfortunately have to pass :(

Ive wanted this to happen for ages :D HOPEFULY they are hd remakes with trophy/3d support.

Sony is adding Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to PlayStation Network as downloadable PS2 Classics in the future. Both games were re-rated by the ESRB as PlayStation 3 games. Gran Theft Auto: San Andreas was not on the list.

It's just the Playstation 2 Classic version on PSN nothing added to these games.

That's what I thought when I first read this news.

Can someone please explain how it is now possible to do these PS2 games when Sony said it was impossible?

kinda late if you ask me why no SA? its been on live for awhile now

even if they were remade and had trophy support it be hard for me to replay em at this point in time maybe during 06-08 id give em a another go

just bring on gta5 R* this yr, its going on to 4+ yrs since gta 4 released, last gen they had 3 good gtas in a span time of 3 or so yrs

Perhaps it's all a ploy by Sony. Remove the BC from the PS3 so we can re-sell the old PS2 games on PSN. Fortunately I actually still have a working BC PS3, although it has been repaired twice.

They should release it for vita.
They should release all their hd remakes, collections whatsoever for vita.
