Wii will average 98,000 per week this year, and will just miss thew 100M mark in 2012, or may not top 100M at all.

US sales weekly? Or 98K WW?

US sales would be great but I meant WW, Selling just over 5M in 2012. 98.9M sellthrough as of end of 2012.

Yeah I was kind of being hopeful there. Possibly 100 Million if were lucky, but I seriously doubt that.

^ they have Mario Party 9 for March i think, than it has Last Story and Pandora`s Tower - all for Europe. In the US i think it`s just MP 9 and Xenoblade.

I think MP9 will help keep HW sales from falling further... i hope!

I had forgotten about that game. Could be, but is it really a big seller? Last Story and Pandora's Tower will do nothing for Wii in Europe. At least I don't expect them to

Mario Party 8 sold nearly 8 million copies, so I'd say at least one or two million for MP9. Could be way more though given the success of Just Dance 3. Now, if it's a big system-seller or not remains to be seen though.

MP9 is coming to wii on 2nd March in UK and will stop it from falling below the 70K mark.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Those are some depressing Vita numbers. Also Wii's and DS's days are counted.

not really. no major software, then hardware dosn't move.

I dont see how that stops it being depressing numbers?

That may be the cause, but they are still depressingly low.

The numbers would be depressing if the Vita DID receive most of it's major software only to still meet mediocre sales. If this were true, there would be very little hope for the system to live. At that point, one could reach the conclusion that the Vita is cursed to have low sales forever. Hopelessness That's depressing.

However, since most of the major software hasn't released, there is still some hope that the numbers will increase at some point in time. At least in this scenario, there is still hope that the system will see decent sales if/when it becomes flooded with major titles.

Vita sales are awful :'(

everything else is down yoy too :(

On a positive note, we'll see new and fresh consoles soon enough with the way things are going

Yeah this might push them to release thema bit sooner, the Wii U still probably won't release until around September though.

I just remember the excitement over the internet when PS3/Wii were announced (didn't follow the market as much when 360 launched). I want to have such an experience now with Xbox 3 and PS4 :D

Do you not care for the Wii U?

I'm not very excited, but I do care a bit. I just mentioned xbox and PS4 because Wii U has already been announced

Oh ok :)

You sound depressed. xD

Wii is going to drop like a rock this year, good timing on WiiU I guess.

Looking forward to new consoles from Sony & MS next year.

Nah, I still have hope. A Playstation fan always has hope. Sometimes, we may have "no games" but we always have hope. Sometimes, hope is all we have. (Espescially in the early PS3 days).

(what i thought when i saw this post) what!

sadly i'm missing the point. i must be depressed by something else not to see what you're talking about. yea i'm sure the numbers are depressing to some, but they know why so i don't see the shock value.

I'd consider the PSP to be the chock value.

lol. they are doing about the same in same region right, only like a 5k diff. lol! PSP the little engine that could lol.

a new user(thats been lurking)i see. i'm starting to like you already lol.

Tbh I see all home consoles fall roughly Q1 2012 YOY.

20 to 40 % down across the months for all 3 home consoles.
