Because the methods used to get accurate numbers here aren't.... the most accurate?  Until companies give numbers like they should, it's all smoke and mirrors.  Given how off they were this holiday season, and the fact that digital sales are becoming more and more prevalent (more digital downloads than cds sold for music, steam doubling sales) I'm not putting nearly as much weight on the numbers here. 

Yeah, true enough. Discussions in threads such as this one are many rendered useless with a stroke of adjustments. Ah well, it's still fun :D


After we get all 3 companys numbers we shoudl see more adjustmens specially for Wii.

Consoles are in free fall right now. Wii is using it's turbo to fall a bit faster.

^ they have Mario Party 9 for March i think, than it has Last Story and Pandora`s Tower - all for Europe. In the US i think it`s just MP 9 and Xenoblade.

I think MP9 will help keep HW sales from falling further... i hope!

Yeah, afraid so... and staying there for a very long time.  Do they have anything coming to push sales?


Hmm the only "major" game I can think of is Xenoblade Chronicles in America, releasing in 12 weeks. Pretty much no games in Japan this year besides DQX, which should only come out by the end of the year. 

Oh and I can't think of one Nintendo game coming out for Wii this year, have they completely dropped it?

Yeah this might push them to release thema bit sooner, the Wii U still probably won't release until around September though.

I had forgotten about that game. Could be, but is it really a big seller? Last Story and Pandora's Tower will do nothing for Wii in Europe. At least I don't expect them to


Of the upcoming Wii games, if MP9 doesn`t make at least a dent, nothing will!
Last Story and Pandora's Tower won`t change anything for Wii in Europe, i think. Maybe if they get released in the states things will be a bit different. Could be great for Wii`s last days!

Eventually, but I don't think soon. There are many games coming out for them in the coming months. 360 might go under 100k before summer but I don't think PS3 will. Having said that, I think all of them will go sub 100k during the summer :(. Will be depressing!

Actually the Wii might even go lower if Nintendo announces a release date for the Wii U before hand and they start marketing the heck out of it.
