I think after this NPD report, many people lost some trusts on VGC. Maybe the discussion of weekly charts will have a huge decline. I hope VGC can develop a new extrapolation modeling to improve the accuracy.

BTW, I still think MS has small chance to be the manufacuturer who sold the most consoles in the past year.

i hear this argument every time post npd adjustments come in...

2 weeks from now all this will be forgotten and people will still argue about the numbers, we had a 1millions + adjustment before and nothing changed

Doubt anything even minor will come from this in terms of vgchartz traffic.

From what I saw from the weekly charts tread, I already thought some people stopped discussing it or maybe even left this site. I like VGC, so I expect this site can be improved.

I think the extrapolation modelling needs to be changed to increas the accuracy.

Just my opinion.

AFAIK that's a third time something is overtracked by 1 milion units in december and people still discuss weekly sales :)

360 still overtracked quite badly.

vgchartz are actually quite accurate these days OUTSIDE of the holidays. they have never been good at tracking during november/december time.

Wow is so surprising to discover that all the numbers we have been discussingand arguing are so faked and unreal....such a waste of time.
