Retro Studio has only developped great games until now. There are now reason to think they will do a crappy game this time.

1. History of every time ANY artist claims something will be a crowning achievement is the reason. They tend to think it will be their best work, and half the time it's mediocre at best.

2. The father(s) of that game are the developers of the first games, not the current series leader.


1) I don't think. You can say that for personnal things like song but not for games.

2) The fathers are still at EAD.

Retro Studio is 100% owned by Nintendo. They are not collaborating with other studios, they are hiring guy to work for them as new staff.

Retro is a studio that is owned by Nintendo, so it will be exclusive to Nintendo  ...

It won't be multiplatform, for two reasons:

1. Those developers now work for Retro.  They may have formerly worked at Naughty Dog, but now they work for Retro, and have no connection to their former employer.

2. Retro is owned by Nintendo.  I assure you, Nintendo will not be funding an Xbox game.
