Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Retro Studios hires Uncharted 3 and Darksiders staff- working on corwning achievement

Oh my.....

Alas I am going to shelve it for a little while as I am going to work on another project that I am super excited about. I can't talk about it too much but if all goes well it might just be one of my crowning achievements as an artist....

No. PS4 title.

Retro Studio has only developped great games until now. There are now reason to think they will do a crappy game this time.

I just hope this is not Zelda, Zelda has to stay with his EAD father.

Retro's last game was KDCR which released in 2010 and we know they helped with some of the MK7 tracks, so they've been working on a main project for a while now.

So I say whatever they're doing has a good chance of being shown at E3 this year.

It seems reasonable, Retro already employed at least one, ex-Naughty Dog member before.

1. History of every time ANY artist claims something will be a crowning achievement is the reason. They tend to think it will be their best work, and half the time it's mediocre at best.

2. The father(s) of that game are the developers of the first games, not the current series leader.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
