Paid full price, glad, deserves every penny.

I agree wholeheartedly. Popped it in yesterday with my bro and had a blast in co-op.

This is really just a $20 downloadable game.

Fun or not, it Should have never been $60 in the first place.

which is probably why the price dropped so quickly, Ubi knows what they are doing.

Sorry, but with what I have read, I have to respectfully disagree.  For a game that look wonderful, has great music, has the ability for multiplayer, and you can easily put well over 10 hours into it, it is a $60 game.  Yes, you could just play straight through, and beat it in about 6 hours, but the exact same could be said for a game like LittleBigPlanet.

Maybe it is just preference for what kind of game one likes, but I would rather spend $60 (I only spent $40, but I'm trying to pass a point) on a game like this, and play it extremely thoroughly (get all collectibles, etc.) than a lot of "Complete $60 games".

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

EBWOP: I forgot to mention, the game I purchased also came with a hardcover artbook. While it is nothing significant for some people, I thought the book was incredibly neat. The value including the artbook is also much higher due to there not being as many (To purchase it used on Amazon is still over $40).

LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2 actually has nearly unlimited potential for game play.  Not only can you create till the cows come home, but you can play everyone elses creations.   Hell, some people have even been hired game designers because of LBP.

Rayman Origins is a standard'ish type platformer.

Is it fun and good?  Sure.   But so are many others.

Sorry, this is worth nothing more than $20 and that's why the price dropped so fast like it did.   If money's a problem for you and if you bought this game for $60, you were fooled.   Sorry.

Just look at the games I'm currently playing. Three out of Four of them i haven't even opened them. I dont think I have the time for this one unless it can keep the same price on the psvita version.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Sorry, but I still disagree.

What is different from this game versus Donkey Kong Country Returns?  That game is still $44 to purchase brand new from Amazon.  DKCR is simply a standard'ish type platformer.

What is different from this game versus New Super Mario Bros Wii?  That game is still $43 to purchase brand new from Amazon.  NSMB Wii is simply a standard'ish type platformer.

These games require a very similar amount of time to beat with a simple playthrough, and although they have collectibles, don't offer anything beyond the single player experience.  Yes, they are amazing games, but Rayman is supposed to be amazing too.

It has nothing to do with a money problem for me (and I purchased it for $40).  I'm saying I would GLADLY purchase a platformer such as this for $60 versus a lot of other games that are apparently "worthy" of a $60 release point.

I suppose it all has to do with preferences, and we won't be able to reach an agreement on this.

go buy this game right now. That is all

For that price, this game is a must buy. I am playing through it now and have to say that it's the best 2D platformer that I've played since DKC Returns. It's better than the Kirby games.

Wow. I picked it up on Black Friday week for $40 on Amazon, and still haven't played it (Will be starting next week when I have an HD tv available).

Guess that was a complete waste of $20.

No...we really don't disagree fundamentally.
