F-Zero. We needs it!

Around the Network

Since we are talking about the games we want, not the ones that they need to have a successful launch, I'll go with

+Pikmin 3. They are working on it, and it's about time!

+2D Mario. There is something about the 2D Marios, some kind of "magic" that makes them special.

+F-Zero. It's been so long since the last one.

+Eternal Darkness 2, and made by Retro. Although I have't played the original I want to play it, and a sequel would be the best option. And made by Retro because I want to know what they can do with the IP and the new machine.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

A launch F-Zero would be awesome. It would be a hardcore racing title which could show the performance of the Wii.

A new Metroid title, or anything from Retro Studios would be excellent too. Wii U needs a good hardcore game right off the bat.

Ontop of that, Mario Kart Wii should be an early title (not launch, but by fall 2012), but a 3D Mario would be an excellent launch title. It used to be standard that new Nintendos came with a new Mario title, Gamecube got Luigi and well Wii got Zelda, which wasn't bad, but it would be nice to see a Mario Launch title along with 1 hardcore game.

A Zelda game where you use a Wii-mote for the sword and the Wii-U thing for the shield.

Personally though, no new Mario, Kart, Zelda, etc. game would get me to even look at Wii U. An HD and highly enhanced Endless Ocean might entice me though.

GAHH!

Well other than Wii Sports 3 I think a 2D mario would probably do the trick to get sales. Pikmin and F-zero just need to be there for good measure.

Eternal Darkness was cool wasn't it!

That's what I was thinking too! Mario to grab the [hardcore] Nintendo Fans and Wii Sports 3 to grab the casual addience.

OT:  Also, it's hilarious that in the poll choices, "Do what they did with the 3DS" is currently beating a new Kirby game.

Is that show in your avatar still on the air?

Lol! Poor Kirby, he can never catch a break! Who picked that horrible choice? :)

Person of interest?  Yeah it is.  It's good, but I think I like the characters/actors more than the show itself.  Of course I love Michael Emerson (Mr. Finch) but the guy in my avatar, Mr. Reese (played by Jim Caviezel) is actually my favorite character.  He's a badass.

Yeah, nothing against Kirby (although I'm not a fan of the games).  I just found it funny that "a new Kirby game" was actually losing to what is clearly the worst possible choice.

Mario of course. But if not that i want a new ip. Cmon nintendy..

Mario would be awesome, it would be a real surprise if the Wii U launched with a new mario. But I'm thinking there are other Nintendo franchises which have been left out of the spotlight for far too much time, some that may have even been abandoned (Star Fox, F-Zero, etc.)

I know it would be difficult for Nintendo to release many 1st party Nintendo games at launch so I'm betting for a really REALLY good launch window of games like Mario, Starfox, Metroid, Pikmin etc. Make it happen Ninty.

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .

Super Mario Galaxy 3
