So i just had a break from med school and i played and beat about 5 games. I played AC: Revelations which was a lot better than the reviews would have you believe. I played and beat a ridiculously good game in Batman Arkham City, that lived up to expectations. But i finally got my hands on Resistance 3 and man I am telling you that it was awesome. I love the weapons and upgrades that this game offers, they are quite satisfying. But immediately the story gameplay and overall plot were very interesting to me.  Also very cool that they tied in Nathan Hale as a hero. So what do you guys think? This game is way better than the reviews and it is a pity that it got such bad marketing. I love you Sony but something has been wrong with you for about 5 or 6 years. Discuss!

I finished the game 3 days ago. Its one of the best games of 2011 imo. The story, the gameplay and oh my god the insane graphics were perfect! The only downside about R3 is the short ending, it was so short, especially for the last game of a trilogy. So many unanswered questions... Also the defence bots were a stupid idea.

Have to agree with you. It was the best in the franchise and while the MP was meh, the campaign was awesome. Would love to see a 4th game in the franchise.

I love the Resistance series and R3 is a huge improvement on R2. I really am liking the new survival mode, they just need to add more maps!

It's the best fps campaign in a long time. Great turn around after the boring campaign of R2.
The graphics are great too, the cut scenes look amazing. Awesome lighting.

This is great, i got it for christmas but i have yet to play it and now I'm excited to play it. I always heard good things from other people.

One of my favourite FPS this gen...it was just amazing. Glad I got it Day 1!

I thought the campaign was a snooze fest. unorginal and nothing we haven't seen before. the graphics were good,but if felt like an action movie,that was okay,but uninspiring. In my opinion the second one was much better. The MP also sucked,because all they did was take some pages from the call of duty franchise and put it in the mp. I remember the on rails boat level taking forever and wondering when it was going to end. I felt that way throughout the whole game.
