Hi folks,
Just picked up Dead Island during an amazing Boxing Week sale (Boxing Week>Black Friday :P). Got a brand new copy of the game for $25, and am enjoying it immensely so far.
I just did a sidequest where I had to bring a guy named Omar to the lighthouse, and I was supposed to get a revolver as a reward. I got him there, and pressed X to receive the gun. It said that I took the gun. Then it didn't appear in my inventory, it is not on the ground, and I cannot interact with him anymore. Am I missing something, or did the game screw me over? :-S
Also, if it can't be fixed, would anyone be willing to trade me for a revolver? I don't have a lot because I just bought the game, but I'm sure we could figure something out.
It's the Xbox version of the game.
