nice, seems like a good tv. why did they decide for a samsung compared to sony, lg and so on?

There were no Sony's in the shop hahaha. But anyway I think Samsung TV's are better.

green push? whats that?

An oddity in TVs where green is made to look stronger than other colors.

Correct. And I might add that it seems to occur too often in certain LCD models. My first attempt at a 42" LCD tv was a Toshiba that had so much green where there should be black, I had to return the set the next day. It was like every movie was the Matrix.

By the way, I ended up doing a LOT of research and ended up with a Sony Bravia. Samsungs are good but I won't buy them because they really screwed a lot of people over regarding a defect in the light-reintegration tunnel on their DLP sets.

Problem: didnt see a sony bravia of that size...

That's becasue Sony doesn't like making sets that big, the image quality decreases severely from 42" and upwards where contrast, clarity and ghosting in concerned. I'd recommend a smaller set regardless of type and manufacturer!

Yeah... I ended up going from a 42" set down to a 40" set.  I really can't tell the difference, and picture quality matters a lot more to me than a very small percentage improvement in size.

M8 is the old series

F8 has the 100mhz interpolation of frames.

None the less its a good tv still i got the R7 series and that is awesome. When I get a bigger house I want to get the F8 series. Not sure what size lol.

You will be perfectly fine as long as you stick with either Samsung or Sony. They are the best two on the market. I have seen some other HDTVs on the market that look like SD. LOL.
