Anway in 2012/2013 when the Ps vita price is very close or the same as 3DS it probably will still be outsold and we will have to read threads where fanboys will quote you two with the purpose to show how Sony fanboys are idiots....All you two did with that post is feeding the trolls and considering I am tired of all those fanboys shit going on and mods like montana have stated  that they want to have more intelligent and mature discussions I report you two.  You both are not new on the forums and how you don't see the lack of software is the cause of the horrible salesdrop...well I don't get it...you may have an opinion but an opinion that has to effect every sony fan negative on this forum? well don't understand why sony fans who try hard to post  posts that make sense and want have a good time have to accept that they will be laughed at because of you two ..

If you want to defend the Vita then try harder and post something that is obvious it is not hard something like:

"OMG VITA BROKE A NEW record  More than 70k sold and no software title in the top 35 no console or handheld did that before...."  it is that simple..

This isnt the proper forum but just want to put out there that PS3 isnt beating xbox in the world. This very site we are on still shows 360 having a global lead.

I don't think they're defending the Vita. What they both quoted just goes to show what a better value the 3ds is currently and why there is no incentive to buy a Vita (at the moment).

Nevermind that the Dark Quest/Dungeon Hunter game listed is also available from Gameloft on other devices (iOS, Android) for less.

I honestly never thought I would see the day that someone would imply I was a Sony fanboy, given my history of being rather Nintendo inclined (despite owning a few Sony systems).  lol, I've owned a 3DS since PAL launch and don't plan of getting a PSV in the short, medium or quite possibly even the long term.

Anyway, I agree with you that lack of 'appealing' software is the cause for these disapointing sales.  I thought the gaf post perfectly illustrates the level of price difference and it being one of many factors behind the PSV's uphill struggle against the 3DS at the moment.  I did at not one point state, or want for people to infer that I think price is the sole factor for these sales.

Something I just remembered me saying to someone in this thread earlier and that was if Vita launched later with more software it would have sold more but ultimately it wouldn't have benefited Sony. I think that applies to these numbers as well. Vita has alot of games coming and when they come out the sales should pick up a bit, it won't be able to compete directly with 3DS for awhile but ultimately this is all irrelevent as Vita will be getting alot of good games that people and wantand I don't see how releasing before then will hurt it.

I realize that the Vita's sales are lower than many might have expected. That doesn't mean this thread is an opportunity to troll and flamebait. Just know that any inappropriate behavior in this thread from now on will be taken much more seriously.

If the sample was all sony products then yes.  If it encompasses nintendo and Sony...well not so much
