What is the sales top 5 JRPGs of this generation for consoles (not handhelds) in America?

they are so few and far in between i dont know. FF13 is a multi million seller. I think VC for PS3 crossed the million. If we are counting MH for WIi that crossed a milllion. THe thing is I dont even think Xenoblade will cross the million mark. Hell i dont even think it will come close

I would not be surprised to see The Last Story to get a North American release.
I would be very surprised to see Pandora's Tower come to North America.

Well MH was on a system that was in the middle of its lifecycle, Xenoblade is not. Majoras Mask did not sell as much as Ocarina even though many say it was either barely behind it in quality or just as good. It was the end of the 64 and people just were not going to be able to buy enough. Now Xenoblade should still do really well with this North American release. I think it will probably do better here than anywhere else! I think.... |
it very well may, but its not going to do a mil. Not even close. Americas would have to purchase 700,000 copies for that to happen and Ninty probably wont even ship that much. Not sure how much it needs to sell to have the other games come
I hope the preorders are spot on. And NOA dont be lazy we also need TLS, I dunno about Pandoras tower but I'd get it day 1 for sure.

I'm skeptical about both xenoblade and Final Fantasy XIII-2.
I love xenoblade and really excited for XIII-2. But the fact that XIII-2 has more preorders than its original game hotly anticpated for five years, that was disliked by a fair margin of people doesn't make a lot of sense. Unless VGC was wrong with FFXIII preorders but not this.
Xenoblade, seems high, it's on the wii, only at gamespot, and the fact that xenosaga sold so poorly that makes me skeptical of that.
