There are still 15 more weeks before Xenoblade hits US and Canada gamestops. 15 more weeks to add to that 70,000 total that William D'Angelo said it was at so far on Vgchartz front page.

With that being said, is this enough already to get the other Operation Rainfall games to definetly come over to America now? What is it going to take sales wise for Nintendo to be willing to make this happen?

Also, since Reggie has been adamant about the Wii sticking around, could good Xenoblade and The Last Story sales bring other imports to the shores of the Red, White, and Blue?

The main title that I am still hoping for is Earth Seeker. Anyone else have any others besides Fatal Frame that they would like, or that you think could do well in America and Canada?

Last Story incoming??? Eh? Eh?

I'm pretty sure the pre-orders are wrong though as they were for Zelda. I really only will be ready to discuss the success of Xenoblade once we have the actual numbers.

I don't think that is high enough because the tittle will be very front loaded, so 70k preorders will mean maybe 120k total sales and that is still too low. Now there is still time for the number to grow but I am confident that 150k preorders will be enough to warrant The Last Story release in America.

I still have to preorder 2 copies of the game, but will do next week, so there is hope that the preorders will reach bigger numbers.

What do you think it would need to sell to get Nintendo to def. bring the other games? It is obviously all about profit of course.

In a way I think that no matter what NoA will bring them over just to keep the wii going through next Christmas even if these Rainfall games do mediocre.

I would say that pre-orders need to hit 250k before release. Possibly have an opening of 350k to 400k before Nintendo thinks about working on bring any more Operation Rainfall games over to the US.

Good to hear! To bad accounting practices will probably keep that money from being accepted for a while, but they are still on their way! As long as you do not change your mind for any reason.

there is no way i would change my mind about this. the wii is the best console and i want all the best games for it. i always buy my wii games new on purpose so i can give the money to the developer. in fact, when i used to work at gamestop i used to try to get the customers to buy all the wii games new and all the 360/ps3 games used. i was pretty good at it.

if they brought up a newly released used wii game i would just say, 'well for five dollars more you can get a new copy, want to just do that?' similarly if they brought up a new copy of a newly released 360/ps3 game, i would just tell them, 'well for five dollars less, you could just get a used copy and you even have a seven day warranty if you dont like it.'

it was awesome. so yes, you dont have to worry about me, my money is going to nintendo on this one.

Mmm... convince me to preorder ir ;)
