Forums - Nintendo Discussion - When was the last time you played ps1/n64 era?

On the actual console itself, many years ago. As for actual games, most days, such is one of the advantages of the PS3. We also sometimes play N64 when drunk for new years at my mates place, so fingers crossed.

I play N64 and Sega Saturn games quite a lot. But I rarely use my old Playstation. On Saturn I like to replay the Panzer Dragoon games, especially Panzer Dragoon Saga. I also love Sega Rally and Daytona USA. Burning Rangers, Tomb Raider, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Shining Force 3 are games I go back to from time to time. For the n64, I like to hit up Mario 64 and Zelda OoT every year or two.

I go back to the 16 and 8 bit gens a lot too. And I play a lot of old classic PC games like Quake, Doom, Descent, Terminal Velocity, etc.

Was Rayearth released in English?  Or did you import it?

I haven't played the original consoles in a good 5 years. I still play PS1 games and N64 games though, through emulators, PSN and the VC (when I had a Wii). Last N64 game I played was Ocarina of Time roughly 2 years ago, last PS1 game I played was Pandemonium...a few hours ago.

My PS2,Dreamcast, and 64 are always hooked up as well.

My N64, GCN and PS2 are still plugged into my tv still ;)

I always used to brag about having all my retro consoles still hooked up, I always had my PS2 and Dreamcast hooked up just a few years ago. Ever since I bought my Xbox 360 I've been losing space and my Xbox 360 and PS3 are the only consoles I have hooked up, with an occasional session on the PS2. It was only this morning I was thinking of hooking up my Dreamcast, I think I will now, hopefully I can buy some new cables for it too.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Super Mario worldis a game that Can be played over and over again. And the star road always sucks!

Yeah it does... I hate the 2nd and 7th levels of star road the most.  The ones with those damn P baloons and the walking, hopping fire.  WFT???

How many times does it still take you to get that first P balloon level done?  Lol! But when you finish the star road you feel like you really accomplished something other than getting a new weapon, like they do in today's games.

I'm with  I'm with nightdragon. Level seven always messes me up. The Balloon level I've got down pat and can usually get through the first time around, But level seven always messes me up and I'd go as far as saying it's the hardest in the game by far.

Working Designs did a fantastic English localization for the US. It was the very last official Sega Saturn game released in the US. I don't know if it was released elsewhere in the world. The released three collectors versions, all identical except for the art on the discs, one for each of the main characters. I have the green Fuu version. It's a great game, a lot like Zelda.
