Thought it would be cool to do a short GOTY Elimination game for 2011. Same drill as before, all contestants on this lists are games taken from Metacritics with a score of 85% or higher (;-( Catherine..).
Rules:
1. This game works by users taking a vote. In that vote you must have 1 + vote and 1 - vote, for valid games. If a game has been eliminated, your vote will be accepted only at the time of edit. So make sure you wuote yourself when you edit, otherwise I will count it when I update (after everyone else who voted between your edit and my update).
NOTE: The second post contains a list of invalid votes. If your name is present, look at your vote and add a valid game to replace any that have a strike through. Doing so will validate the original vote, and I will count it. Thus if your vote was invalid, you effectively have 2 votes the next time you vote.
2. + is worth 3, while - is worth 5. Net score difference is -2.
3. You are allowed 1 vote every 3 hours
4. Regarding XenoBlade. Since it did release in Europe, but not Americas yet, only European gamers can vote for this one. I will check your profile to make sure you listed yourself from that region. If you have no region associated with your profile, you must state where you are from.
5. No game can be eliminated before 25 total votes. This is to prevent people who enter the game early from eliminating good games before others have the chance to vote for them.
6. Users with under 50 posts, or those who have a new profile since the start date of this thread, will not have their votes counted. Sorry, but this is to prevent cheating.
7. If you are caught voting in less then 3 hours, your new vote will not count, and your next vote will be taken 3 hours after the last non qualifying vote.
8. If you voted an eliminated game, and get an extra vote on your next turn, you must vote separte games (no multiple +'s or -'s) If we are in the top 5, invalid votes will be immediatly disqualified (so pay attention, I update frequently).
9. Unedited votes older then 48 hours, will be deleted. You had your chance.
