Grew up in Ohio and I've been to the original Wendy's in Columbus. Wendy's isn't that big of a deal considering they increased their price on the double stack from 99. That was the best deal they had. The frosty and cooking the meat on a real grill and not a press fit is about what separates them from McDonalds. Used to work as a cook during high school at one.  I try to avoid eating any fast food but if I had to choose I would probably pick Burger King.

The only sandwich I really like from Wendy´s is the spicy chicken one..now that thing is delicious!

Pretty sure that McDonalds is the leader by a wide margin, but people still prefer the burgers from Burger King.

Having said that, there isn't really a third player in this business. At least in France you have also a Quick (which still doesn't come close to the quality of McD and BK).

You guys and your ongoing fascination with whether Wendy's is going to overtake Burger King or not. It's pathetic. Look, this late in the gen, even if Wendy's DOES manage to beat out Burger King, it's a moot point. McDonald's may be considered more kiddie but it's the obvious winner by a large margin. The best Wendy's and Burger King can ever hope for is second place.

The fact that Wendy's has more exclusives (The baked potato, the JR. Bacon Cheeseburger, and the Frosty) and people are still flocking to Burger King (whose only got the Whopper franchise) is just another example of how hollow a Wendy's victory would be.

And I don't want to hear any comments from you Hardee's/Carl's Jr fans. This is clearly about Wendy's vs. Burger King. Nobody cares about you and your $6 cheeseburgers.
