Okay, so, my brother's about to get a PS3.  And, wanted to know what would be the best FPS.  I don't have a single first person shooter, outside of Metal Gear Solid 4 (and, if you don't want to count that, then, I have none)  But, there's just so many of them to the point where I'm completely put off from them altogether.

I'd had plans to get a FPS, but, I was just waiting for the best one on PS3.  MW3 is automatically out.  He's not going to pay 60 bucks for a game unless it's twisted metal, or madden, so he says.  But, I was thinking about Killzone 3.  I don't want more than one FPS, and I don't trade my games in, and I'd like to only buy new, so, I have no used PS3 games either.  I want my purchases to count towards the companies, not Gamestop because they piss me off anyway.

STFU with the questions, I said I don't want your cards, nor subscriptions.

And, incase you're wondering, the collection shown on this site of mine is seriously outdated.  I've got Uncharted 2, 3 and some other stuff.  I don't know how he feels about Uncharted, because his first time playing, he just died the whole time, caused then, quit mid-way through...

Apparently, no auto-lock's in Uncharted 3, and I didn't even know FPS came with that.

So... what to get?  Anything to top killzone 3?...  Don't just say a title, give me an actual reason..  Otherwise, I'd just put up a poll...  And, another thing, you people adding "See results" to the polls...  Why would you care to see the numbers if you're not going to pick anything anyway.  Curiosity to see which number is bigger?....  Wow....

Best FPS on PS3 is Killzone 2 or Killzone 3 hands down.

Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 like Vetteman said wins without a doubt. It's personally one of the best FPS games and series I've ever played. And Killzone 3 with the move shooter is just epic. Resistance 3 is also really great but I've only played the campaign and not the MP which I heard was pretty good. But I don't think it would have an exactly large online community when looking at the sales

Get Killzone 2.

Best fps I have played is killzone 2 but its a 2009 title so if he is ok with it go with it. It has a very good online component. But the community is a little sparse. But killzone 2 can be a little hard since its controls are a bit weird.

Killzone 3 is supposed to be good as well. You should get that if he wants something new. And its easier than killzone 2 from what I have heard.

Modern Warfare 3 would be your best bet. Don't know why you wouldn't want to get it.
If you're on a budget then maybe Black Ops.

Best FPS on consoles are Call of Duty games. They have so much replay value. From Zombie/Survival Mode to multiplayer to campaign there's always something to play.

Well, basically now, the thing is, "Plan for KZ3, but, try to find something that will top it." I don't really care about the story. I'm going to hate the story regardless. My expectations are so high to the point where I cannot watch 99/100 TV shows and movies without falling asleep.

But, at least with a game, it'll pull you through it. I's like to have games that look nice too, and I know KZ3 has the better graphics. I'd hate to get this game now, and, in January, they announce it for Greatest Hits.... I mean, I've gone -this- long without it, even though it was on my 2011 wish-list.

Modern Warfare is out, though, like I said.

I've heard Maximillian complain a little too much about the lag, (he did so in both the vids I'd seen him do.)  I don't want to pay 60 bucks for a laggy game.  My brother said he's NOT paying 60 dollars, and, personally, with the saturation of FPS out there, I wouldn't pay 60 bucks for a game like that either.  I'm very picky with my games.  I don't trade them in, so, I have to know I'll like it before I even buy it.  I mean, I loved Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, and it's my most played game, however, I hate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 with a passion.  So, If I think I'm not going to like it, I'll stay far away from it (MW3).   I even tried to like MvC3 and still hated it.

And, lastly, I forgot to add this, but, he has some kinda issue about shooting things that aren't people.  So, no resistance 3.  No shooting monsters, aliens, or whatever.  Just people...  I guess KZ2-3 are safe, cause they look like people.

Battlefield 3.. dropped it's price in Europe.. don't know if it's dropping in the US but the Multiplayer is waaay beter then Killzone..
